By now, you may have heard it on the news. Mt. Redoubt has erupted SIX times since last night; the most recent being this evening. Unfortunately, it is completely covered with clouds and I can’t get any photos of it to share with you. There are also two web cams focused on the mountain and the one labeled “Redoubt – Hut” shows what’s happening up close and personal.
None of the ash has fallen close to Kenai…yet. They are expecting the volcano to continue erupting over the next couple days. We are prepared with filters, water and face masks, just in case. Below you can see where the ash fell today.
